How to Declare the Study of Religion Minor

  1. Read the general university requirements for a minor (students.ucsd.edu).
  2. Seek advising from your college advisor and the Study of Religion undergraduate coordinator if you have questions.
  3. Log in to the Major/Minor tool (students.ucsd.edu) and submit the declaration, copying the sample declaration provided below.
  4. Allow 5 business days for your minor declaration to be reviewed, then log in to the Virtual Advising Center (vac.ucsd.edu) to review your updated degree audit and see if there are further instructions. Message the Study of Religion undergraduate coordinator if you have questions about your audit or would like to petition a course for the minor.
