The Devil in Film

This class examines the Devil in film—from "The Exorcist" (1973) to "This is the End" (2013)—and explores the various issues these films reflect in American and European culture: for example, competing forces of modernity, popular culture, gender, sexuality, and shifting locations of traditional Christianity.
